Short biography:
The company was founded in 2009 by Andreas Nordlund. with a goal to satisfy the need for training films in psychotherapy that at the time could not be bought in Sweden. In spring 2010 Cognitus became exclusive distributors for Psychotherapy.net 2011 and started planning to produce films with experienced and internationally renowned Swedish experts in psychotherapy. In the spring of 2011 Cognitus also initiated projects to develop a psychotherapeutic self-help tool for mobile platforms with a focus on managing overwhelming emotions and breaking dysfunctional destructive behaviors.
